A leading accounting and advisory company is looking for an experienced Accountant with a professional and motivated approach to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own client portfolio and handling a wide range of financial and taxation matters within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients independently

• Preparation and review of annual financial statements

• Handling of tax returns (ITR12, ITR14, VAT) and SARS-related matters

• Monthly and annual accounting processing

• Preparing reconciliations and management accounts

• Professional liaison with clients and team members

Requirements:

• Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles in an accounting practice

• Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting

• Sound knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax legislation

• Experience with CaseWare, Xero, or Sage will be advantageous

• Professional communication skills in Afrikaans and English

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
