Responsibilities

General maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment at the Animal Feed and Silo Plant.
A good understanding of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles.
The ability to assess problems and solutions and carry out preventive maintenance on an ongoing and effective basis.
The control of assets and resources, as well as compliance with safety procedures, measures and standards.
A high level of cleanliness in work areas and make a positive contribution to the overall efficiency of the plant.

Requirements

At least a Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
A high level of reliability, dedication and the ability to work productively and independently.
Good mental and physical health and be able to lift heavy items.
