This position is suited to a candidate with solid exposure to commercial lending transactions and a strong interest in deal-driven legal work.Role OverviewThis opportunity will involve working on a range of finance-related matters, supporting clients such as banks, lenders, and investment entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation, review, and execution of finance agreements, as well as contributing to the structuring of various funding transactions.Key DutiesPreparing and reviewing finance and credit-related agreementsAssisting with structuring funding arrangementsAdvising on lending transactions across different sectorsHandling matters relating to:Structured and acquisition financeLending backed by assetsTrade-related fundingProperty-linked finance and bondsLiaising with clients and stakeholders throughout transaction lifecyclesRequirementsLLB degree (BCom)Admitted AttorneyDemonstrated experience working with finance or lending documentationGood understanding of commercial lending principlesBackground in either a law firm environment or in-house legal role within a financial institutionWhat We’re Looking ForA proactive and commercially aware individualStrong drafting skills with attention to detailComfortable managing responsibilities within a transactional environmentExposure to property finance or mortgage-related matters is beneficialAdditional InformationPlease note that this role focuses on transactional finance work.
