Our client, an established civil engineering and project management contractor based in Cape Town, is looking for an experienced and driven Civil Engineering Site Agent to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on operational role for someone who takes pride in delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget — while leading site teams with confidence and professionalism.

Requirements: 

• Relevant degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field
• SACPCMP registration or similar professional registration is preferable
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar site agent or operational role within the civil engineering sector
• Strong experience in planning and programming using MS Projects and/or Candy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills in particular
• Sound contractual knowledge and commercial awareness
• Solid understanding of construction methods, budgeting, and health and safety standards
• Strong organisational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work to deadlines, and solve problems under pressure
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable transport
