Role Overview

This is a high-impact, CEO-facing role for a senior operator who thrives in fast-paced, execution-driven environments.

You will act as the CEO’s right hand, responsible for:

• Translating strategy into execution
• Driving cross-functional projects
• Ensuring accountability across business units

Key Responsibilities

1. CEO Office & Strategic Execution

• Work directly with the CEO to translate business strategy into actionable plans
• Structure, prioritise, and drive key initiatives across the group
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and internal documentation

2. Project Management Across Business Units

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of strategic projects, including:
• New product development 
• Operational improvements 
• Expansion initiatives 
• Digital and marketing projects
• Define project plans, timelines, and deliverables
• Track progress and ensure deadlines are met

3. Operational Oversight & Performance Tracking

• Monitor key operational metrics across:
• Funeral operations
• Insurance operations
• Wealth and Shared Services
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements
• Support implementation of systems, processes, and controls

4. Stakeholder Coordination & Accountability

• Work closely with business unit leaders to ensure execution
• Drive follow-ups and accountability across teams
• Facilitate meetings (MANCO, operational reviews, project updates)
• Ensure alignment between strategy and execution

5. Special Projects & New Ventures

• Lead high-priority, CEO-led initiatives such as:
• New product launches
• Strategic partnerships
• New business models and revenue streams
• Navigate ambiguity and build structure where none exists
