The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the banks client base, growing deposits and advances, and enhancing overall profitability, while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Proactively drive business growth across deposits, advances, foreign exchange, and overall profitability
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets locally and nationally
-Build, manage, and strengthen long-term client relationships
-Promote the banks international capabilities, particularly within foreign trade and investment
-Lead, mentor, and support Relationship Officers across branches to ensure alignment with business objectives and culture
-Contribute to strategic initiatives, including new branch development and business expansion
-Support the development and rollout of new banking products and services
-Ensure accurate and timely operational and financial reporting
-Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements
-Uphold and enhance the banks brand and reputation in the market
-Foster a collaborative, high-performance working together culture
Qualifications Experience:
-Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum requirement: Bachelors degree)
-RE5 certification (essential)
-Minimum of 58 years experience within a banking environment
-Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
Key Competencies:
-Prior sucessfulexperience in banking/financial services sector in a similar roleis essential.
-Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
-Solid financial and sector knowledge, including exposure to Islamic banking products and markets
-Strong analytical and research capability
-Ability to simplify and communicate complex financial information
-Excellent sales, negotiation, and influencing skills
-Demonstrated ability to grow and manage a client portfolio
