Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ has an opportunity available for a Clinic Regional Manager to join the team in the Garden Route & Eastern Cape. The main purpose of this role will be to effectively manage the Clinics for the Dis-Chem group and its staff members while ensuring the Group complies with industry standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Tertiary qualification in General Nursing (Degree / Diploma) Midwifery)
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- 5 years relevant experience
- 2-3 Years Primary Health Care Clinic Operational Experience
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Advantageous:
- Management/Leadership Qualification
- Knowledge of Patient Electronic System, CKS
Job Specification…
- Assist in ensuring compliance with the industry’s legal requirements and develop strategies to promote and maintain these compliance practices.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice standards and develop strategies to promote and maintain these compliance practices.
- Assist in ensuring the executing of clinical administrative policies and actions to enhance patient care programs.
- Assist in enforcing budgets upon the Dis-Chem Clinics to promote productivity and profitability of the Dis-Chem clinics.
- Assist in managing facilities, equipment, supplies, personnel and resources in relation to set budgets.
- Perform regular store visits within allocated region to ensure the clinic is up to standard and to assist with the daily operations within the clinic when needed.
- Ensure all Clinic Practitioners are registered with SANC and BHF.
- Assist in analyzing and monitoring regional clinic operations, such as patient flow, scheduling, appointments.
- Ensure to take part in the training and development of clinical staff within Dis-Chem.
- Monitor patient service feedback and contribute towards the process of resolving complaints and service issue received from staff, visitors and patients.
- Monitor, coach, develop and evaluate performance of all Clinic staff.
Competencies
Essential:
- Knowledge of community health nursing, primary health care and/or occupational health nursing
- Up to date nursing training as established by industry boards
- Excellent communication skills
- Business Acumen
- Strong analytical skills relating to monthly clinic statistics
- Emotional intelligence; entrepreneurial flair; trustworthy and honest
- Time management
Special conditions of employment:
- South African citizen
- MIE, clear criminal and credit
- Driver’s license and/or own reliable transport
- Extensive travelling
