We are seeking a Junior Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join a specialised engineering environment focused on industrial weighing systems, batch plant solutions, and process control integration.

The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on technical support, installation, calibration, fault finding, and maintenance of industrial weighing and batching equipment across various client sites.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical & Instrumentation installation, wiring, and fault finding
Loadcell installation, calibration, and servicing (silos & hoppers)
Breakdown support and troubleshooting on batching plant systems
Work with Loss-in-Weight and Gain-in-Weight systems
Conduct site inspections, installations, and commissioning
Provide technical support to clients on-site
Assist with sourcing technical and electrical quotations from suppliers

Requirements

Matric
N3–N6 Electrical or Instrumentation OR Diploma/BTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (advantageous)
1–3 years’ experience in Electrical & Instrumentation field
Experience in industrial weighing and batch plant systems (essential)
Strong understanding of loadcells, silos, hoppers, and batching systems
