The Supply Chain Co-ordinator is responsible for the administration and support of upstream supply chain processes, ensuring that all required information, documentation, and tracking are kept accurate and up to date. The role helps the team run smoothly by maintaining data, checking compliance with processes, and highlighting any issues early.

What you will love doing in this role

Purchase Order Management

• Ensure orders are aligned to in-stock requirements while balancing operational efficiency and cost
• Improving On-Time In-Full performance by tracking delivery dates to plan, flagging and following up on deviations

  Assist with Supplier booking administration and follow-up

• Shipment consolidation and container utilisation planning (less empty space, better consolidation)
• Tracking of shipping costs and cost drivers, mainting accurate rates cards, cost templates and invoice approval.
• Identifying and escalating variancies or inefficiencies

• Own and execute all processes related to clearance and shipping documents including onboarding and coaching of Vendors on supplier portal, sign-off of transport and clearance documents

• Reporting on key metrics related to the upstream Supply Chain as related to local procurement, shipping and purchase order efficiencies

What you’ll need to do this role

• Grade 12/Matric/NQF 4
• 1-5 Years Experience 
• Drivers License
