Security service Company in Germiston is looking for a External Sales Consultant.
Qualification:
· Matric
- At least 5 years relevant sales experience
· Proven track record in external sales – demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
· Valid driver’s licence & own reliable transport
· Sage experience
· Strong technical background or proven ability to understand and sell technical products
· Experience in new business development, cold calling and prospecting
Skills & Knowledge Required:
· Strong interpersonal & communication skills
· Proven B2B sales skills, including the ability to engage key decision-makers through effective networking
· Able to take initiative and apply creative thinking skills
· Strong ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and initiate sales engagements efficiently
· Adaptable and proactive
· Proven technical literacy and the willingness to learn product and relevant applications within the scope of the company’s products
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
· Knowledge of security industry (advantageous)
· Strong negotiation skills
· Target-driven with a strong hunter mentality and resilience in competitive sales environment
· Strong market-development mindset, with the ability to identify gaps and introduce products accordingly
Candidate Requirements
Duties:
· Drive consistent achievement of sales targets, with clear focus on revenue growth.
· Actively pursue new business development, including identifying potential customers, uncover opportunities and converting leads into sales.
· Implement strategies to expand product reach within existing and new customer segments
· Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline, demonstrating a strong hunter approach to sales
· Present, promote and demonstrate technical product features to customers, leveraging strong product understanding.
· Report on sales performance, pipeline conversions and target-tracking metrics
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new customers and fulfilment of technical requirements.
· Assimilate product and application knowledge accurately and effectively
· Manage and maintain an active customer visit planner to Company requirement
· Analyse current customers and market and prepare goals, objectives and a plan to achieve sales
· Assess client need and suggest appropriate product applications to meet the need
· Promoting the company's products to ensure growth
· Servicing and developing relationships with key customers
· Expand the relationships with existing customers by enquiring regarding other possible security sealing needs / requirements
· Ensure knowledgeable on market movements and factors affecting growth, request continuous product information and ensure information is shared
· Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to management
· Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in line with delivery agreements
