Advance your career in the FMCG industry as a Senior Microbiologist based in the Western Cape!

With a focus on ensuring quality and compliance, you will maintain the laboratory management system, act as Internal Auditor and lab representative, identify non-conforming work and implement corrective/preventive actions, and investigate root causes. Your experience with identifying and coordinating staff, ensuring correct test methods and handling procedures, and providing professional technical feedback will support the successful delivery of outcomes of the role.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you will need a BSc/BTech in Biological Sciences (Microbiology is preferred), ISO/IEC 17025 Training and ISO/IEC 17025 Internal Auditing Course certification, and training on method validation and verification. Additionally, it is essential that you previously acted as Technical Signatory for SANAS and possess familiarity with the LIMS system. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a lab environment is required. We are seeking Senior Microbiologists who are quality and customer-focused, pro-active, and have excellent problem-solving skills.
