Our client, a multi-disciplinary company, is seeking a qualified Senior Professional Structural Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis at their Durban office. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of structural engineering projects within the building services sector.

Preferential Abilities & Experience:

·        Solid technical background in structural analysis, modelling, and hand calculations, ensuring sound, code compliant, and constructible designs across a range of materials and building types.

·        Strong ability to conduct and lead site inspections, assess workmanship, and issue site instructions.

·        Proven ability to take projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision.

·        Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding junior engineers and technicians.

·        Ability to integrate structural design elements with other engineering & architectural disciplines.

·        Strong client communication & interpersonal skills.

·        Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality.

·        Strong working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD & structural modelling software e.g. Tekla, Prokon, Masterseries, Robot.

Minimum Requirements:

·        BSc Eng, BEng or BTech in Civil/Structural Engineering with 10+ years’ experience.

·        Professionally Registered Engineer with ECSA.
