Our client is a forward-thinking engineering consultancy specialising in Electrical Services and working across a range of innovative and sustainable energy projects, supporting the transition toward smarter and more efficient infrastructure.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Draughtsperson to take ownership of draughting delivery across multiple projects. This role goes beyond traditional draughting — you will be responsible for planning workloads, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality output throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

·        Minimum 5+ years’ experience in CAD draughting

·        Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Services (essential)

·        Proven experience working on Solar PV, battery storage and microgid projects

·        Proficient in AutoCAD MEP, Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage and MS Office Suite

Responsibilities:

·        Produce and deliver high-quality technical drawings within project timelines

·        Manage drawing registers and ensure accurate issuing of documentation

·        Perform quality assurance checks on all drawings before release

·        Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to resolve clashes and optimise designs

·        Assist in rerouting and resizing of services where required

·        Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project progress
