Inventory Management

Monitor and control stock levels to ensure sufficient inventory for operational needs
Conduct, daily, weekly and monthly stock counts and investigate discrepencies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records on relevant systems
Identify, record, and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock
Manage stock adjustments, transfers and reconciliations
Process all local purchases
Co-ordinate delivery schedules for all local procured stock
Ensure that all Certificates of Analysis are received for all incoming stock from suppliers and filed onto the system

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with warehouse staff, sales and finance departments on stock availability, movements and replenishment
Assist in resolving internal stock-related issues promptly
Communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)
Benchmark for pricing from transporters and process purchase orders to transporters
Prepare, daily, weekly and monthly stock reprots for management
Track stock variances and provide recommendations for process improvement
Assist in audits and stock reconcilliations when required

Education: Grade 12 (Matric) essential, a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory control or warehouse management, preferably in a logistics or distribution environment.

Sound Communication skills in Afrikaans and English.

Ability to work under pressure and excellent problem solving skills.

Logic minded.

Based at the Head Office in Great Brak River, Mosselbay
Standard working hours apply, with flexibility required during peak periods, stock counts or emergencies

Working Hours:

The employee will operate within the following hours (45 Hours per week)

Monday - Thursday 08h00 - 16h30

Friday - 08h00 - 16h00
