Vacancy Details
Procurement, Expediting, Update and maintain price build-up (PBU) system, Maintain procurement & inventory data on computer system, Document filing, Housekeeping and safety. Material availability, Price negotiations, Forward exchange contracts, Maintain supplier profiles, Administrative month-end responsibilities & processing the stock count data, Assist in receive and dispatch activities when required.
Talent Management and Development:
- Personal development in high level overview of what the company is selling and business concepts.
- Ensure that all administration such as annual leave, sick leave, overtime and expense claims are completed correctly in line with company Policies.
- Complete annual staff satisfaction surveys.
- Complete annual staff performance appraisals and assessments.
- Complete and update development plans annually
- Stakeholders (Internal and External):
- Foster and improve customer relationships.
- Foster and improve internal staff relationships.
- Operational Performance:
- Upholding strict and effective SHEQ (including ISO 9001) measures within the business ensuring that staff meets the requirements of relevant legislation and company Policies in this regard at all times.
- Ensure that if there are internal or external escalations that the escalations happen as quick as possible and with all relevant information.
- Growth and Profitability:
- Ensure that all tasks performed re done within required time, accurate and as soon as possible.
- Identify where cost savings can be implemented.
Candidate Requirements
Diploma Logistics and/or Procurement
5+ Years’ experience in a procurement function.
Communication skills: verbal and written
