This role calls for an experienced and driven Sales Representative responsible for overseeing and growing sales within a designated region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in FMCG sales, supported by a relevant tertiary qualification and a proven track record of achieving targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with proficiency in basic computer applications and a professional, well-presented demeanor. A valid driver’s licence is required, as the position involves regular travel between stores.

Applicants will be responsible for:

1. Assisting in the operation of allocated commercial stores

• Evaluate and promote better services to customers where required.
• Control and monitor store fixtures.
• Monitor stores’ monthly sales and growth in accordance with set targets.
• Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Line Manager.
• Ensure that all listed products are ordered and displayed in applicable stores.
• Manage ordering and follow-up of all seasonal and everyday stock.
• Evaluate and analyse allocated stores’ monthly sales and growth against targets.
• Implement store disciplines as per company guidelines.
• Adhere to and implement all operational procedures and manuals.

2. Liaising with internal and external customers

• Ensure that general correspondence is adhered to as outlined by the Line Manager.
• Assist in annual stock takes in stores when required.
• Address complaints and resolve problems within stores as required.
• Advise the Line Manager of any concerns relating to operational issues and correspondence.

3. Managing merchandisers

• Coach merchandisers, plan and assign duties, and direct workflow in conjunction with the Line Manager.
• Address complaints and resolve problems within the team.
• Ensure staff adhere to all procedures and operational requirements as specified in internal guidelines.

The incumbent may also be required to perform additional duties from time to time.
