Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial accounting functions including reporting, reconciliations, compliance, payroll processing, and financial analysis.

This role requires a technically strong accounting professional with experience in financial reporting, VAT and tax compliance, and working within a corporate or SME environment.

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• SAIPA or SAICA articles advantageous (not mandatory)
• 3–6+ years’ experience in financial accounting or similar role
• Experience in a corporate or SME environment
• Exposure to multi-entity or group structures advantageous
• Strong proficiency in Xero (mandatory) and Dext (critical)
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Working knowledge of SARS processes, VAT and tax compliance
• Strong analytical, reconciliation and reporting skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and accuracy
