Our client is looking for a dynamic Junior Portfolio Manager to join their specialized team in Melrose, Johannesburg.

In this pivotal role, you will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of structured trade transactions, from leveraging your network to originate high-yield opportunities to conducting on-site due diligence across various territories. You will bridge the gap between deal origination and implementation, presenting investment theses to the Committee while managing investor relations and overseeing the operational rollout of live deals.

Requirements

·        COMPLETED Degree in Finance / Business Management

·        MINIMUM 5 years’ experience working in the Financial Sector, 2 of which years with a focus on Banking/Investment Administration

·        Experience with Trade Finance/Structured Trade Finance/Working Capital Finance/Supply Chain Finance Experience (non-negotiable)

·        Knowledgeable regarding FAIS Act

·        Ability to communicate in and/ or understand French (advantageous)
