We are hiring a Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth and expand Orange’s customer base across Africa and global markets. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on building pipeline, developing customer relationships, and closing enterprise deals.
The successful candidate will work directly with the CEO and founders to execute the company’s go-to-market strategy and build a repeatable sales motion. This role requires strong execution capability, commercial thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a startup environment.
Key objectives for this role include building pipeline across Africa, closing enterprise deals, refining sales messaging, improving sales systems, and contributing to the company’s overall commercial strategy.
This role is designed as a growth position. The successful candidate will begin as Business Development Lead, with the opportunity to grow into Head of Sales based on performance. The Head of Sales role will carry executive responsibility, ownership of global sales strategy, and leadership of a scaled sales organization.

Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a senior, hands-on business development professional who is comfortable operating in a startup environment and owning revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is comfortable building pipeline, managing enterprise sales cycles, and working directly with founders. You should be highly organized, commercially minded, and execution focused. You should also be comfortable using AI tools and modern sales technologies to improve performance.
This is not a purely strategic role. The successful candidate will be expected to generate leads, close deals, and help shape the company’s commercial growth.
This role is designed as a pathway into a future executive position. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance will have the opportunity to grow into the Head of Sales role, with responsibility for building and managing a global sales team.
Required Experience
5 to 10 years of B2B sales or business development experience
Fintech industry experience
Experience owning a sales or business development pipeline
Experience hitting revenue targets

University degree
