Assist with the execution and monitoring of production accounting procedures.
Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) balances and assist with reconciling physical WIP to the general ledger.
Review and analysis of material, labour, and production variances, highlighting discrepancies for further investigation.
Run stock counts, review of stock adjustments and ensure adjustments are processed accurately in the ERP
Prepare and maintain production and cost reports for management review pack.
Support the coordination and maintenance of perpetual inventory analysis and cycle counting processes.
Lead monthly review of excess and obsolete inventory, including reporting and tracking provisions.
Prepare monthly inventory costing reports and monthly std cost updates.
Reconciling inventory balances to the general ledger and identify discrepancies for resolution.
Support the preparation of financial information and schedules required for group reporting.
Support the integrity and accuracy of ERP data through data analysis and coordination with inventory control, production, and work order processing teams.
Provide support during external and internal audits, including the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
Any other ad hoc task allocated by FD or FM.

Grade 12 / Matric
Tertiary qualification in Accounting (BCom Financial Accounting). Honours in Accounting or Financial Management Advantageous.
0–1 year of experience—ideally recent graduates
Must be willing to achieve a CIMA qualification
Excellent proficiency in Excel
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment
Good management skills to lead a team
