They support major industrial and municipal clients across sectors, delivering reliable maintenance, operations, and water-related solutions that keep essential systems running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans in collaboration with senior leadership, including targeted customer engagement and clear, achievable sales outcomes.
· Identify high-value opportunities and define tailored sales approaches per client.
· Prepare contingency plans to ensure consistent performance and adaptability in changing markets.
· Business Development & Sales: Drive sales across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on securing refurbishment and repair projects within mining and heavy industry sectors.
· Promote and sell specialised services related to heavy mechanical and electrical equipment.
· Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their operational needs and delivering tailored solutions.
· Conduct regular client visits and engagement across multiple regions.
· Technical Sales Execution: Source and secure refurbishment work for equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, LV/MV/HV & DC motors, and transformers.
· Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate scoping and successful project delivery.
· Brand Representation: Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and strong business ethics at all times.
· Uphold high standards of communication, presentation, and client interaction.
· Leadership Development: Contribute to the growth and future leadership of the sales function, with the potential to take on broader leadership responsibilities over time
Job Requirements:
· Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
· Minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in a high-performance technical sales environment.
· Proven track record of working under pressure and consistently achieving sales targets.
· Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
· Strong proficiency in MS Office and overall computer literacy.
· Solid technical understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment within heavy industry.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
· Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
· Professional approach with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Sleutel Verantwoordelikhede:
· Verkoopstrategie & Beplanning: Ontwikkel en implementeer strategiese verkoopsplanne in samewerking met senior bestuur, insluitend geteikende kliëntebetrokkenheid en duidelike, haalbare verkoopsuitkomste.
· Identifiseer hoëwaarde-geleenthede en definieer pasgemaakte verkoopsbenaderings per kliënt.
· Stel noodplanne op om konsekwente prestasie en aanpasbaarheid in veranderende markte te verseker.
· Besigheidsontwikkeling & Verkope: Dryf verkope oor Suid-Afrika en sub-Sahara Afrika, met fokus op die verkryging van opknappings- en herstelprojekte binne die mynbou- en swaar industrie sektore.
· Bevorder en verkoop gespesialiseerde dienste verwant aan swaar meganiese en elektriese toerusting.
· Kliëntbetrokkenheid: Bou en handhaaf sterk verhoudings met sleutelklante, en verseker ’n diep begrip van hul operasionele behoeftes en die lewering van pasgemaakte oplossings.
· Doen gereelde kliëntbesoeke en betrokkenheid oor verskeie streke.
· Tegniese Verkope Uitvoering: Verkry en verseker opknappingswerk vir toerusting soos pompe, ratkaste, LV/MV/HV & DC motors, en transformators.
· Werk saam met tegniese spanne om akkurate omvangbepaling en suksesvolle projeklewering te verseker.
· Handelsmerkverteenwoordiging: Verteenwoordig die maatskappy te alle tye met professionaliteit, integriteit en sterk sake-etiek.
· Handhaaf hoë standaarde van kommunikasie, aanbieding en kliëntinteraksie.
· Leierskapsontwikkeling: Dra by tot die groei en toekomstige leierskap van die verkoopsfunksie, met die potensiaal om oor tyd breër leierskapsverantwoordelikhede te aanvaar
Posvereistes:
· Tegniese kwalifikasie in Elektriese of Meganiese Ingenieurswese.
· Minimum 7 – 10 jaar ondervinding in ’n hoëprestasie tegniese verkoopsomgewing.
· Bewese rekord van werk onder druk en die konsekwente bereiking van verkoopsdoelwitte.
· Geldige bestuurslisensie en eie betroubare voertuig.
· Sterk vaardigheid in MS Office en algemene rekenaargeletterdheid.
· Soliede tegniese begrip van meganiese en elektriese toerusting binne die swaar industrie.
