Candidate Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

·       Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA/MBL) advantageous

·       Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) – Mines and Works

·       Minimum 15 years’ progressive experience in the Mining sector, with substantial engineering leadership in underground operations

·       Professional registration with a recognized engineering body

·       In-depth knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and engineering best practices

·       Proven leadership and interpersonal skills capable of motivating a diverse technical team

·       Strong project and budget management experience .

·       Proficiency with engineering tools and software for analysis, planning, and performance tracking .

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities .
