Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in the Somer Set region. Key Responsibilities

Credit Control Cycle

• Collaborate with the Credit Control Manager on aged debt and recovery plans
• Support accurate and up-to-date debtor records

Procure-to-Pay Cycle

• Review supplier payments and reconciliations
• Maintain master data and contracts
• Conduct spend analysis and ensure compliance
• Improve systems and internal controls

Record-to-Report Cycle

• Maintain master data and chart of accounts
• Handle fixed assets and payroll accounting
• Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Process journal entries and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare month-end working papers

Reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts and group reports
• VAT / Irish GST reporting
• Assist with statutory reporting (for Head of Finance review)
• Cash flow forecasting
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis

Regulatory & Team Responsibilities

• Ensure timely regulatory submissions
• Support and guide the local finance team
• Drive innovation and process improvements

Reporting Line

You will report directly to the Head of Finance and CFO.
