We are seeking a highly capable Senior Data Analyst to join our client’s growing team. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, business analysis, and reporting, and is critical in helping the organisation understand its data landscape, deliver actionable insights, and continuously improve our SQL Server-based data environment. This is a senior, largely self-directed role suited to someone who can independently define problems, develop solutions, and drive outcomes, while remaining a collaborative and trusted partner to the data team, IT, and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

·        Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance)

·        8–10 years’ experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role

·        Strong SQL expertise, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and window functions

·        Proven hands-on experience with SQL Server

·        Experience documenting data models, architectures, or data dictionaries

·        Advanced Excel skills for reporting and dashboarding

·        Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

·        Highly self-directed, organised, and capable of driving work independently

·        Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and validation
