We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead to mentor a team of 6 developers and drive technical excellence, architecture, and delivery across our product portfolio. In this role, you will balance strategic technical planning with day-to-day development, working closely with Product Management to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. You’ll take ownership of distributed system architecture, cloud-native deployments (GCP), and the software development lifecycle, while mentoring your team and fostering a culture of ownership and high performance.

Requirements:

·        Relevant tertiary qualifications

·        10+ years engineering experience

·        3–5 years leadership

·        strong distributed systems and cloud expertise

·        Agile experience

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead architecture and design decisions across services and applications

·        Hands-on development in Go, Python, and TypeScript

·        Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on GCP (Cloud Run, GKE) using IaC (Terraform)

·        Drive code quality, testing, CI/CD, and operational excellence

·        Collaborate with Product to translate requirements into technical solutions and roadmap contributions
