Foreman Mining
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To ensure mining operations underground are carried out safely, to standard, and in accordance with the mine plan. You will have to supervise Shift Bosses and monitor the quality of work performed by mining crews.
You will have the following:
- Must have Shift Boss Training Certificate
- Must have a Blasting Certificate
- Must have worked at 6 years’ experience as a Shift Boss and 3 years as a Blaster
- Must have at least 6 years Trackless mining experience
- Must have at least 6 years of long hole stopping and development mining experience
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Swahili, is highly advantageous.

Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:
Coordinate underground mining operations Mining according to the Plan, Schedule Activities and Resources in 1- month and 3-month plans , Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with established Standards and Procedures, with a focus on the health and safety of works, the mine and its infrastructure.
Stakeholder Management - Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
Finance Management - Monitor costs or expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste
People Management - Contribute to building a high-performing team
