Our client, a leading national supplier of innovative, eco-conscious packaging solutions for the food and beverage industry, is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Manager to join their growing Cape Town team. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive and collaborative with a strong interest in financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities include: *Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports *Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis *Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures *Provide data-driven insights to support financial decision-making and strategy *Collaborate with senior management on financial planning initiatives *Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system *Assist with internal and external audits *Support cash flow management and financial risk assessments *Ensure compliance with tax regulations *All other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Registered CA (SA);
• 0-3 years’ post-article experience;
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP);
• Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) will be advantageous;
• Experience in packaging, FMCG, food service supply, or B2B distribution would be preferrable;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
