We are based in the Northern-Suburbs of Cape Town and are looking for a qualified individual to join our team. We have a vacancy available for permanent employment as a bookkeeper. This position is ideal for an individual who is proactive, applies logical trains of thought, works well in a team environment and applies a high level of accuracy to their work. 

Responsibilities:

• Balance sheets, income statements, VAT returns & cash flows.
• Examining the accuracy of financial documents
• Finding and addressing any discrepancies in accounting.
• Keeping accounting books and systems up to date.
• Collaborating with external auditors.
• Recording payments and disbursements
• Recording financial transactions.
• Posting debits and credits.
• Producing invoices.
• Maintaining and balancing ledgers, accounts, of subsidiaries.
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
• Interacting with clients.
• Problem-solving.
