- Assist with design development, including mood boards and concept ideas
- Support with sketching and basic design work (hand or digital)
- Help organise and track samples and collections
- Contribute to trend research and inspiration gathering
- Assist with sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials
- Support coordination of sampling and fittings
- Help manage communication and follow-ups with suppliers and manufacturers
- Assist with quality checks and finalisation of garments
- Assist in planning and staging photoshoots (garments, models, flat lays, etc.)
- Support content creation for social media platforms
- Help manage and update online platforms (website, Instagram, etc.)
- Contribute ideas for brand storytelling and visual identity
- Provide general administrative support
- Help organise timelines, tasks, and production schedules
- Run occasional errands related to production or sourcing
- Keep records of samples, fabrics, and key project updates
- Primarily remote role, with reimbursed travel required within Gauteng as needed
- Exposure to design, production, and brand development
OVERVIEW
We are looking for a creative and organised fashion graduate to support the development and launch of a new African women’s workwear brand. This is a hands-on, part-time role ideal for someone eager to gain real experience across the full fashion value chain - from design to production to brand building.
You will work closely with the Founder & Creative Director and be involved in multiple aspects of building a fashion brand from the ground up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Fashion Graduate will support the development and launch of a new African women’s workwear brand, contributing across various areas to bring the brand to market later in the year.

REMUNERATION

Candidate Requirements
- Recent fashion graduate
- Strong interest in fashion, especially women’s workwear
- Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Skilled with design tools (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Adobe, and similar) is a plus
- Portfolio submission is welcomed but not required
IDEAL CANDIDATE
QUALIFICATIONS
· Fashion Design Degree or Fashion Design National Diploma.
