PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Provide objective and independent assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Company’s sustainable performance in the areas of operations, risk management, internal controls, financial reporting, and government processes.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete audit section with guidance from team members.
Complete system descriptions based on the understanding of the process.
Conclude on the working paper, system descriptions and audit program.
Understand the relationship between risk, control and governance and how to apply the understanding.
Prepare snapshot, interview client, meet deadlines and respects confidentiality.
Prepare a daily timesheet, built and maintain professional relationships across entities.
Maintain proper lines of communication and remain professional.
Communicate effectively and professionally in written communication and ensure continuous communication on outstanding information hindering audits from being completed.
Maintaining and safeguarding of customer documentation.
Obtain understanding of the entire business process.
Participate in snapshot discussions to widen knowledge on the various findings, risks and ratings.
Audit evidence must be factual and have relevant supporting documents.
Perform any adhoc tasks as allocated by Supervisor and/or Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
BComm Accounting Degree (Completed or in Progress - final year of studies) or equivalent.
Be willing to study towards a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification
Valid Namibian driver’s license.
Willing to work overtime and/or weekends.
Computer literate with a good mastering of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Proficient in English (written & spoken)
Namibian citizen.
