Our client an Accounting firm in Paarl is looking for an Accountant to joint their team.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan work according to daily, monthly, and yearly instructions
Prepare financial/management statements for:
Companies & CCs (including bank reconciliations)
Trusts (including bank reconciliations)
Individuals (including balance sheets)

Compile and submit:
ITR14, ITR12, and ITR12T returns
Provisional tax calculations and submissions for Companies, CCs, and Individuals
Draft letters to clients and SARS
Schedule and attend SARS appointments
Compile management statements
Conduct valuations
Upload documents to SARS eFiling
Follow up on payments, manage age analysis, and process handovers (in coordination with the Office Manager)
Maintain organized filing systems
Assist with any additional tasks as needed
 
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Accounting
5 years’ experience
Knowledge of SARS e-Filing and related processes
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
