Purpose of Role:
The Junior Warehouse Manager will be responsible for supporting the effective day-to day management of warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock control, efficient distribution to stores, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The role requires strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills to maintain stock integrity and operational efficiency
Main Duties:
The main duties will include dispatching accurate stock to the stores (packaging and beverages), managing ingredients for production, and ensuring accurate stock takes. The candidate will supervise a small team of two staff members and must be willing to assist with packing stock as well, this is a hands-on role and not purely supervisory.
Assist with the daily supervision and coordination of warehouse operations.
Ensure accurate receiving, checking, and recording of incoming stock and materials.
Manage stock control processes, including cycle counts, stock takes, and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Ensure correct storage, handling, and rotation of stock (FIFO principles).
Coordinate the picking, packing, and dispatching of stock to company stores within required timelines.
Investigate and resolve stock variances and delivery discrepancies.
Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, stores, and internal departments regarding deliveries and stock queries.
Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and health & safety regulations.
Assist in supervising warehouse staff, monitoring productivity, attendance, and performance.
Support onboarding and training of new warehouse employees.
Prepare operational and stock reports as required by management.
Assist with cost control by minimising stock losses, damages, and wastage.
Participate in internal and external audits when required.
Perform any reasonable operational duties as required to support warehouse efficiency.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum Requirements:Computer literacy is essential.
Previous experience working on stock control and/or accounting system is essential.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a warehouse or stock-related environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers, stores, and internal stakeholders.
Proven track record with contactable references.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
Clear criminal record (verification required).
Must meet IP200 requirements.
Ability to work long hours, weekends, public holidays, and at short notice when operationally required
