REPORTING TO THE PROGRAM MANAGER
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-value client projects according to plan, timeline and budget to ensure a professional client experience is delivery in support of the core business objectives.
This role includes coordinating resources and workflows, track milestones and progress, proactively flag and mitigate risks, and maintaining clear communication with clients to ensure quality, on-time delivery and profitable outcomes.
To take overall accountability for the effective project management of allocated high value client projects according to the agreed plan, timeline budget and best practice to ensure overall client satisfaction and profitability of each project. This includes but is not limited to:

monitoring and enabling the flow of resources and tasks (within the team)
leading the project traffic flow to ensure project deliverables are on time and within budget.
monitoring and reporting on project milestones according to project plans
proactively identifying red flags and address issues to mitigate risks. (e.g. budget and deadline etc.)
end-to-end communication starting from briefing to final delivery.
Identifying potential risks timeously to ensure project timelines are adhered to

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Take overall responsibility for the successful management of multiple client projects resulting in overall client satisfaction and profitability. This includes:

Planning client projects across the department, taking into consideration the constraints of time, resources, costs and agreed quality standards
Managing the project workload and expectations (internally & externally)
Translating project expectations into assigned tasks, schedule, and milestones
Monitoring milestones and requesting ongoing feedback
Identifying potential risks timeously to ensure project times lines are adhered to.
Manage expectations (internally & externally) timeously
Closing off projects successfully (close off reports, evaluations etc.)

To drive cross-functional coordination: lead internal and client briefings, translate requirements into actionable plans, and ensure all teams understand priorities and timelines. 
Manage resources and productivity: allocate staff and billable hours to meet client needs and internal capacity targets ensuring projects are managed within the allocated budget resulting in overall profitability. 
Ensure all allocated projects are delivered on time and within budget by tracking milestones, producing accurate reports and proactively resolving blockers to ensure client satisfaction, retention and account growth. 
Control financial performance: monitor project spend, minimize overspend, and take corrective action to protect margin and profitability. 
Maintain systems and records: keep Workbook up-to-date and ensure consistent use of templates and documentation across the business to streamline process flows, improve consistency, manage risk and improve overall efficiency.
Lead client engagement: act as primary client/stakeholder contact, manage expectations, deliver regular updates, and drive client satisfaction and retention
Resource Planning and Management (Productivity)

Ensure each project is resourced appropriately to maximize operational efficiency, delivering on the client brief in line with the agreed plan and budget, while carefully balancing internal capacity and workload for optimal productivity and performance.
Manage, allocate, and monitor billable hours across the business to ensure time spent aligns with or remains slightly under the original costed estimate.

Product Completion:
Ensure all assigned projects are delivered to the required quality standards, within the agreed deadlines, to drive client satisfaction, supporting long-term account retention and growth
Team Integration and Support:

Act as the central project lead (internally and externally) ensuring successful delivery of all projects within budget, on time, and to client expectations, while maintaining clear and ongoing communication with all stakeholders to support operational excellence, project profitability, and client growth.
To ensure that all required project documentation, administrative tasks, and internal processes are completed before project initiation to minimize risks and delays.

Candidate Requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Degree/3-year Diploma in Project Management or equivalent
Project Management Certificate (i.e. PMI or PMP) – strongly desirable 
At least 5 years experience managing large scale projects preferably in the benchmark/ research industry
At least 3 years’ managing multiple and complex projects and resources simultaneously
At least 2 years’ experience managing a team of project resources
COMPETENCIES: 
Excellent communication skill (verbal & written) 
Professional demeaner 
Excellent Project Management skills
Budget control and commercially astute
Analytical & deductive reasoning skills 
Conflict management skills 
Resilient 
MS Office with advanced Excel
Working knowledge of Workbook or similar Project Management Tools. 
Interpersonal skills
