Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Delmas (Mpumalanga) has an opportunity available for a Finance Clerk. You will be required to do reconciliation and payments of Dis-Chem Supplier Accounts.
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 2-3 years relevant experience working in accounts
Advantageous:
- Relevant Finance Qualification
- SAP, BEST and Readsoft experience
- Experience working in an accounts department
Job Specification…
Invoice Administration:
- Reach daily and monthly invoice capture targets set by the MIRA Credit Supervisor.
- Process all invoices received in time for payments.
- Before capturing the invoices make sure the following details are correct:
- Ensure the Legal Entity is correct,
- Ensure the correct Vendor number is used for the invoice,
- Ensure the Vat is correct and that the correct Vat number is on the invoice, (e.g. NON VAT, VAT OR
FOREIGN VAT – Namibia Invoices). - Send work flow query invoices to stores and following up on response.
- Ensure correct reconciliation and timeous payment.
Invoice Capturing:
- Check which invoices are priority according to their payment dates.
- Capture invoices onto Evolution.
- Capturing and posting invoices on a daily basis.
- Resolve outstanding invoices and claims on reconciliation.
- Follow up on queries raised on accounts.
Communication:
- Communicate with creditors regarding correct vendor numbers and for payment dates of vendors.
- Give regular feedback and updates to the Invoice Credit Supervisor.
- Maintain cordial lines of communication with suppliers and Dis-Chem Departments.
