PLC & MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST📍 Greylingstad💰 R60 000 + Loads of BenefitsWe are seeking a skilled PLC & Maintenance Specialist to join our client’s engineering team. This role is ideal for a technically strong individual with expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and electrical maintenance within an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Program, configure, and maintain PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Manage and maintain SCADA systems for optimal plant performance
- Perform electrical maintenance, wiring, and installations
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults
- Implement preventative maintenance on motors, drives, and equipment
- Support maintenance team with mechanical and electrical repairs
- Monitor equipment performance and prevent breakdowns
- Supervise maintenance staff during weekend shifts (every second weekend)
- Respond to technical emergencies and ensure minimal downtime
Minimum Requirements:
- Electrical qualification (NQF Level 5 or higher)
- Millwright certification (advantageous)
- Proven experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Strong electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with SCADA systems and automation
- Knowledge of motor control, wiring, and circuit design
