Credit Controller | Germiston, GP

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced and disciplined Credit Controller to take full operational responsibility for the debtors book of a leading automotive parts group. This role is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in high-volume cash collections and debtor risk management.

Key Performance Areas:

• Collections & Cash Management: Execute assertive cash collections and ensure the accurate allocation of payments to minimize overdue accounts.

• Debtor Risk Management: Monitor credit limits, manage credit insurance requirements, and ensure compliance with internal credit policies to mitigate bad debt.

• Account Reconciliation: Perform detailed monthly reconciliations of complex debtor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.

• Master Data Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy of the debtors sub-ledger, including new account setups and ongoing maintenance of customer information.

• Reporting & Analysis: Provide management with detailed reporting on the status of the age analysis and identify potential credit risks.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Operations to resolve customer queries and maintain healthy commercial relationships.

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 is essential; a relevant Credit Management or Accounting Diploma is highly advantageous.

• Experience: 5–7 years of commercial credit control experience, specifically managing a large and active debtor's book.

• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel capability and experience with ERP systems (MS Business Central or similar is strongly preferred).

• Skills: Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills with a resilient, deadline-driven approach.

• Languages: Fluent English is required; Afrikaans is a distinct advantage.
