Allée Bleue, based in Franschhoek, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join their dynamic wines division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a prestigious wine estate.

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager and be responsible for: *Manage the complete debtors and creditors ledgers, including reconciliations and age analysis *Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for *Process all financial transactions accurately and timeously, up to trial balance stage *Oversee and manage petty cash *Assist the Financial Manager with month-end and year-end closing procedures *Prepare and provide regular financial reports as required by management *Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding payments and accounts *All other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Proven experience in a similar financial accounting role;
• A relevant diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred;
• Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software and WineMS will be advantageous;
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting;
• Excellent numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
