Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Group Tax Manager to join their team. Main purpose will be to manage various direct and indirect taxes within the group.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Bcom Honours, Mcom or HDipp Tax or CA(SA) with tax experience
• Accounting, Tax, IFRS, Tax administration Act, Income Tax Act
• 5 Years working experience in a similar role

 Advantage: 

• Merger and acquisition experience

 
Job Specification…

• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
• Build relationships and interact with tax advisors to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
• Submit income tax and provisional returns
• Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
• Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
• Manage and coordinate tax audits
• Maintain tax balances on general ledger
• Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
• Manage VAT and PAYE personnel
• Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters
• Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the Group
• Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally
• Review current and deferred tax provision
• Dispute resolution
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Maintain SARS e-filing
• Respond to technical queries
