The RF Engineer heads up the R&D function and reports to the head of Technology. This individual is responsible for all design, development, and industrialisation of antennas, duplexers, filters, and related products, as well as the design and industrialisation of power and signal distribution solutions used in the mobile communication industry.

The purpose of the RF Engineer is to apply applicable knowledge and experience to create products and solutions that serve customer requirements in the communications industry.

Antenna design and industrialisation

• Gather and influence customer requirements


• Design and development of suitable solutions


• Involvement in manufacturing setup, testing and QA


• Participation in production planning and component sourcing decisions

Design of filters, duplexers, and splitters

• Gather and influence customer requirements


• Design and development of suitable solutions


• Involvement in manufacturing setup, testing and QA


• Participation in production planning and component sourcing decisions

Power and signal distribution

• Consult with customers and end-users regarding their requirements


• Gather customer requirements for power and signal reticulation on towers and related structures


• Design, develop and industrialise appropriate solutions to serve identified needs


• Ensure customer approvals and certifications are done
