A Mining house based in Central Africa is looking for a Environmental Manager for a 2yr Contract period

Duties:

Ensure responsible stewardship of the environment and its people within and around its operations

Requirements:

• Must have a degree in Environmental science or equivalent
• A master's degree in environmental is an added advantage
• Must have at least 12 years' experience in mining environment
• Must have at least 8-years' experience in a supervisory managerial role within the mining sector
• Must have at least 8 years' experience in environmental management systems such as ISO 14001 or similar
• Must have at least 8 years' experience in drafting and implementing international environmental standards in the mining sector
• Proficiency in business English is mandatory.  Working knowledge of French will be considered highly advantageous
