We have a vacancy for a Diesel Engine Specialist - Field Service Techncian who can provide a safe and efficient mechanical service to the client’s team through effective maintenance and installation of equipment and machinery assigned thereby ensuring optimum availability and minimum breakdowns. Carry out and overseer pre use inspections to ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance to COP and procedures.

• Carry out and overseer pre use inspections to ensure safe operation of equipment and compliance to COP and procedures.


• The incumbent is responsible to comply with the necessary general standard and procedural administration regarding completed tasks.


• Ensure good housekeeping and environmental practices.


• The jobholder is responsible for his/her own safety as well as for others according to the Occupational Mine Health and Safety Act.


• Effective communication with Supervisor and Subordinates to be established and maintained.


• Proper planning to control spares and fuel by utilize ordering system and ensure availability.
