We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our florist retail team. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has a passion for retail (and flowers!).

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist customers in-store with purchases, product selection, and general enquiries
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash/card transactions accurately
• Perform daily opening and closing procedures of the store
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and work areas
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and display of flowers and related products
• Support basic flower care and knowledge (watering, trimming, and handling stock)
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming store environment

Salary

• Starting salary: R6,500 per month
• Salary may be negotiable based on experience and skill level
