Bosman Family Vineyards, renowned for producing innovative, ultra-premium wines that reflect dedication, precision, and care, is seeking a practical, energetic, and detail-oriented Winemaker with strong leadership capability to join their cellar team at Lelienfontein, Wellington.

Reporting to the Group Winemaker, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing the winemaking function and driving excellence throughout the cellar operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Overall management of the winemaking function *Coordination of harvest activities *Vinification, blending, bottling, and inventory management *Ensuring compliance with quality standards, accreditations, certifications, and ethical audits *Management and development of cellar staff *Presenting tastings and representing the brand at wine shows and marketing events *Liaison with the Farm Manager regarding quality objectives *Engagement with clients, consumers, and suppliers *Execution of all additional duties related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Tertiary qualification in Viticulture and Oenology (or equivalent);

• Minimum 3–5 years’ winemaking experience in a similar capacity;

• Strong knowledge of quality systems and relevant accreditations;

• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);

• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office);

• Willingness to travel and work extended hours in line with wine industry demands;

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
