- Oversee and manage all daily production operations
- Plan and coordinate production schedules in line with business requirements
- Ensure production targets are achieved within set timeframes
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and reduce wastage
- Maintain and enforce quality control and food safety standards
- Manage production staff, including performance, attendance and discipline
- Ensure effective utilisation of equipment, materials and labour
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions
- Monitor and control production-related costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety regulations
- Maintain accurate production records and reporting
- Address and resolve operational issues as they arise
- Grade 12 (essential) with a relevant qualification being advantageous
- Proven experience in a Production Manager in the FMCG industry
- Computer literacy (MS Office; ERP systems)
- Strong production planning and operational management experience
- Experience managing teams in a production or factory environment
- Hands-on and practical approach
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good problem-solving and numerical ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (speak, read and write)
- Purpose of the Role: To oversee, manage and control all production activities within the facility, ensuring efficient operations, quality output and adherence to company standards.
