Are you an experienced HVAC technician with a passion for developing the next generation of technical professionals?

We are looking for a Technical Training Facilitator to drive internal technical HVAC technical training, mentor apprentices, and strengthen the technical capability of our workforce.  This role is ideal for someone with extensive HVAC industry experience who enjoys sharing knowledge and developing others.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Deliver internal HVAC technical training programmes.
• Conduct hands-on training on servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of apprenticeship and learner programmes.
• Assess trainees and monitor technical competency.
• Mentor apprentices and support their professional development.
• Develop technical training material and assessments.
• Assist with the development of online technical training content.
• Travel to regional sites to conduct training and technical assessments.
• Engage daily with Operations teams to follow up on delivery, risks, and gaps.
• Scheduled Reporting on Progress

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience

• Minimum 10 years HVAC industry experience.
• Proven experience delivering technical training or mentoring technicians (compulsory_.
• Practical field experience as an HVAC technician (Advantegous)

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration (Advantageous)
• Registered Assessor with MerSETA (essential).
• Facilitator or training qualification (advantageous).
