We are looking for an IT Technician.
You must be a well spoken, neat, an energetic go getter and willing to go the extra mile for our clients.
Duties:
- Installing and commissioning computer hardware and software.
- Maintain customer desktop and networking equipment.
- Analyzing and solving any serious problems that arise at customer sites.
- Manage and resolve all calls placed for the Desktop Support environment.
- Ensure service levels are met for all logged calls while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction that meets the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Candidate Requirements
Education and Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or other relevant certifications advanatages but not required.
Technical Skills:
- Strong desktop support skills, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and support an added advantage but not required.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Desktop Support Experience:
- Proven experience in providing desktop support to end-users.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting skills for desktop-related issues.
Communication and Customer Service:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Adaptability:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Ability to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Time Management:
- Efficient time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.
Team Collaboration:
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Must be hands on
The ability solve problems when they arise.
Willing to travel.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
