CTP Printers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to support the maintenance and operation of electrical systems within our commercial printing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical components and systems associated with high-speed printing presses, finishing equipment, and facility infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, preventative maintenance practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance. This role reports directly to the Site Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including printing presses, bindery machines, and facility power distribution.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance and services of machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and compliance standards related to electrical work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Electrical Technician
• Relevant Tertiary qualification
• Minimum of two years’ Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting (printing experience a plus)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting methods
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and electrical regulations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow procedures strictly
• Willing to work overtime as and when required
• Willing and able to work shifts
