Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the parts department efficiently, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Achieve budgeted turnover, profit margins, and agreed performance targets.

• Optimize inventory levels to balance cost-effectiveness and availability.

• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and market share growth.

• Safeguard company assets, including equipment, debtors, and staff management.

• Oversee stock takes, communication, and liaison with national distribution and parts management teams.

• Develop and implement action plans and marketing strategies for parts.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

• Support and mentor colleagues, promoting productivity, wellness, and skills transfer.

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational efficiency.

Requirement

• Matric or higher qualification.

• 58 years of experience in a similar managerial role.

• Strong background in the Heavy Vehicles or Commercial Industry (essential).
