Our client, an established fruit farm, currently has an Area Manager position available in the Grabouw area. The ideal candidate has a passion for the development of people and trees, a drive for excellence, and strong management skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Management of all technical and operational aspects of fruit cultivation *Collaborating with technical advisors and applying their insights to enhance production outcomes *Leading and managing the production managers *Ensure compliance to international market requirements *Health and safety (OHS 16.2 appointee) *Financial management and budgets *Personnel Development *All other tasks related to this position.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification;
• A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture will be advantageous;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior production management level;
• Experience in the apple and pear industry will be advantageous;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (Afrikaans essential);
• Valid driver’s license.
