This position involves overseeing full production and operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. You will be responsible for driving production to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets, while managing daily operations. Duties include leading production planning and scheduling, supporting new product launches, and driving continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles. You will also manage budgets and costs, ensure effective stock control, and lead and develop teams to maintain a positive, high-performing work environment.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, with 8–10 years’ experience in an FMCG environment. A minimum of 5 years’ senior management experience is essential. Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement is required, with automation exposure advantageous. You should demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
